This initiative has been a vital lifeline for communities across Afghanistan grappling with the compounding effects of conflict, poverty, and climate-driven disasters, and Afghanistan and Central Asia are among the most affected regions. In response to the devastating earthquakes in Herat province and severe flash floods in Parwan and Kapisa, Mosaic mobilised swiftly to deliver critical aid, demonstrating its commitment to alleviating suffering in moments of acute crisis. In parallel, Mosaic has provided winter food packages to select vulnerable families, ensuring that those at the margins of society are not left behind during the harshest months. While its resources are limited, the Foundation remains committed to a principled, needs-based approach and stands ready to respond to future emergencies in the region—when and where it can. These efforts are not only about meeting immediate humanitarian needs but also about restoring dignity and hope in times of despair.
From Herat’s earthquakes to floods in Parwan & Kapisa, Mosaic Foundation has acted quickly to provide emergency aid. We also delivered winter food packages to vulnerable families—standing firm in our commitment to dignity, recovery, and hope.
